Sign up for a one on one genealogy session with librarian Amy Campbell. She’ll show you beginning tips and tricks for tracing your ancestry. If you’ve already been working on your tree, find ways to digitize your information to keep better track during your research. Email, Call, or come in to set up your 45 minute session.

Christmas Movie Friday

Third Friday

Time: 2:00pm til 5:30pm

Joins us for a mid afternoon movie after work or school. Bring snacks, suggest titles for future viewings, talk with friends or make new ones. Movies will be PG-13 rating or lower, but parents are responsible for researching movie before allowing children to view. Call to ask what movie we’re showing or to suggest a title.

Until we take the tree down

Description:

Help us decorate our tree this year by making an ornament. A template will be supplied with some supplies. Feel free to bring your own! There’s enough to make and take one for your tree at home as well!

Join us on the last Thursday as we explore different career options, how to get into certain fields. These talks will not be limited to college track, so if you’re interested in trade school careers, ask us what’s on the upcoming agenda!

 

 

Children’s Programs

Story time!

Mondays and Tuesdays @10am, except holidays. All storytimes will include song and dance so we can keep our bodies as active as our minds!

3 – Christmas is coming, but Elephant and Piggie know Waiting Isn’t Easy (Willems). What happened, When Santa Lost His Ho Ho Ho (Rader) and how did he get it back?

 

 

9 and 10

We’re all excited about our new toys, but especially Piggie in I Love My New Toy (Willems). The holidays are tough for everyone, but be especially careful about Llama Llama Holiday Drama (Dewdney)!

 

16 and 17

Twas the Night Before Christmas (Moore/Pinkney) is a classic, we can’t leave before the holidays without a reading of this poem. For something a little less traditional we’ll read Santa Claus and the Three Bears (Modugno).

 

23 and 24 – No story time for the holidays

 

30 and 31

Hattie and the Fox (Fox), Hattie thinks she sees a fox, Goodness Gracious! This is Not My Hat (Klassen)! Well then whose is it?!
