Conversational ESL Class for Adults

Description: Students will learn key vocabulary for places they may visit within their community and helpful phrases to use with English speakers there. Students will mostly practice dialogues in small groups. Yoga @ the Library 6:00 P.M.

Description: This course is an introduction to the ancient practice of Yoga. Through a series of gentle Yoga Poses, participants will experience a sense of well-being and relaxation.  Comfortable, form-fitting, but stretchy clothing is recommended.  Participants of all levels of health, mobility, and flexibility are encouraged to attend as Yoga Poses can be adapted for comfort.

Featuring the Montgomery Dulcimer Players

Tuesday, December 11 @ 10:00 A.M.

Description: The Montgomery Dulcimer Players will perform using hammered dulcimers which are percussion and stringed instruments with the strings typically stretched over a trapezoidal sounding board in which the strings are beaten with small hammers.

 

3D Paper Snowflakes

Tuesday, December 11 @10 am

Description: Young Adults attending this program will learn how to craft ornate looking, yet easy to make snowflakes out of paper to decorate their home for the holidays.

 

 

Read A Book Day Celebration

Wednesday, December 12 @ 10:00 A.M.

Description: Children will engage in fun activities, enjoy stories being read by invited guest storytellers, and a visit from Santa Claus.
