March 2               Computer Class @ 11:00 A.M.

March theme for our adult computer class is the arts. While exploring the many possibilities with art and computer technology, we will build up our skills and learn new ones! All levels of experience are welcome in this low stress, community approach to computer literacy.

 

March 2               Scrapbooking @ 12:00 Noon

Description: Learn the techniques of telling stories your memories through the art of scrapbooking using words, paper, glue, photos, etc. Attendees are encouraged to provide material for this program.  Please contact staff @ (334)240-4848 for registration and a list of recommended materials.

March 6               After 5 Book Club Discussion @ 6:00 P.M.

Title: Man on the Run

Author: Weber, Carl

Summary:  Jay Crawford has spent too long paying for a crime he didn’t commit.  For ten

Years, he’s been in prison, waiting for the right opportunity to prove his innocence. When his family is threatened, the time for waiting is over.  Jay didn’t realize that escaping would be the easy part.  A man on the run requires absolute trust, but Jay might just be setting himself up for the ultimate betrayal.

March 7               Adult Graphic Novel Club @7:00 PM.

We will be celebrating Will Eisner Week Tuesday March 7th from 7 PM- 8 PM with a discussion of Will Eisner’s, A Contract with God, the first true modern graphic novel.

March 14             Learning the Basics of Nutrition & Diabetes @ 10:00 A. M.

                                Description: Attendees will learn the importance of eating healthy and living with

Diabetes.

The Wellness Coalition of Montgomery, AL

March 14             Yoga Class @ 6:00 P.M.

Description: This course is an introduction to the ancient practice of Yoga. Through a series of gentle Yoga Poses, participants will experience a sense of well-being and relaxation.  Comfortable, form-fitting, but stretchy clothing is recommended.  Participants of all levels of health, mobility, and flexibility are encouraged to attend as Yoga Poses can be adapted for comfort.
